Inspirations, Colleagues & Community

Fostering a space for everyone
My art career truly began when I felt the need to pivot from the catering and hospitality industry and find a new calling that fulfilled me and pushed me to better myself and my technical skills every day.
It was around that time (and after some soul-searching) that I focused on 3D art and the software Blender. Not only did I find a tool that made my desired future possible, but it also introduced me to one of the best communities that I could ever be a part of. From YouTube and Instagram to Reddit and established professional educational services and communities such as CG Cookie, they all carried a spirit of "helping the next person" and a friendly, welcoming warmth.
Learning and working with 3D has been a continuously fulfilling experience, but actually seeking help and having the opportunity to teach other artists about your passion, is one of the best parts of this career.
Art is the exploration of new realities, but even more so, the sharing and engagement of those realities with like-minded people. That's why I want to help strengthen the sense of community and "togetherness" that once gracefully introduced me to this path of life.
I want to share some of the friends, colleagues, and mentors who helped me along the way and still inspire me to be better.
Friends you should check out
• Francisco Modesto has been a mentor and someone that I look up to when it comes to setting goals and striving for nothing less than excellence. His teachings in motion design and career-oriented advice have guided me through my art career so far.
His relentless search for originality and well-executed design is a contagious habit that everyone should want to catch. I hope that one day you get the opportunity to attend one of his classes or experience some of his work.
• Antecâmara Studio and its continuously bold and irreverent design are an inspiration for what can be achieved when like-minded people come together and produce work through sheer chemistry and a unique thought process. Their studio should be a benchmark in how a space should be built to inspire, work, and sometimes just chill and hang out.
